Content Review Policy

MAITRI is the face of the Government disseminating government information and select list of Government to Business services. This Content Review Policy has been formulated to keep the content on the website current and up-to-date. Since the type of the content on the website varies, different Review timelines are defined for the diverse content elements. This Review Policy is based on different types of content elements, their validity and relevance as well as the archival policy.

Content Approval

The website of MAITRI represents a single department where content is contributed by multiple sources. All such content is duly approved by MAITRI before uploading and constantly monitored.

Content Archival

The content will be online archived automatically after entering 6th year from the date of their publishing. MAITRI maintains online archives for a period of 3 years to allow for the retrieval of content which has expired. Schemes or any other orders which have been withdrawn, or discontinued, or have exceeded 3 years after archiving, may be expunged.
