CM Devendra Fadnavis inaugurates the Indian Pavilion at Davos, marking a significant moment for India on the global stage. The Indian flag soars high, symbolizing India’s ascent towards Viksit Bharat, under the visionary leadership of Hon PM Narendra Modi Ji!

The Udyog Bharari 2024 event was held on 29th September 2024 at the Ganesh Kala Krida Manch, Swargate, Pune,  more than 2000 participants.

The program commenced with a welcome address by Shri. Shivaji Patil, Deputy CEO of MIDC, who highlighted MIDC’s contributions to industrial development.

 Several government scheme videos, including CMEGP, PM Vishwakarma, MAITRI, Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bhahi, and Mukhyamantri Yuva Prashikshan Yojna, were presented to the audience.

Cheques for the CMEGP scheme were distributed to 10 participants by Hon. Uday Samant, along with six certificates for PM Vishwakarma participants. During his address, Hon. Uday Samant acknowledged the efforts of government officers, emphasized the support for women entrepreneurs under the CMEGP scheme, and discussed a defense investment of ₹10,000 crore in Maharashtra. He also urged industry officers and associations to support foundations like NAAM.

Hon. Shrirang Appa Chandu Bharne praised the government’s efforts in industrial development and the success of schemes like CMEGP. Hon. Dr. Chandrakant Pulkundwar highlighted the role of various policies in fostering industrial growth. Hon. Anil Bhandari discussed the contributions of major companies like Tata, Mahindra, and TCS to the economy. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Shri.Shailesh Rajput, Joint Director of Industries, Pune Region.

Hon’ Industries Minister- Shri Udayji Samant highlighted the growth of the Konkan Region with a focus on infrastructure development, enhanced network connectivity, logistic support, Export Promotion, Investment summits, IGNITE events and achievements made in CMEGP in last two years and appreciated the efforts taken by all officials of Directorate of Industries. He also praised the new investments from Konkan region, for achieving significant industrial growth through GeMs n Jewellery park and Defence projects embarking biggest achievements from Konkan region. He has also emphasised the necessity of schemes like CMEGP, PM Vishwakarma to support Industrial sectors.

Hon’ble Minister of Industries, Shri Uday Samant, inaugurated the event with opening remarks highlighting the growth of the Amravati region, focusing on infrastructure development, enhanced network connectivity, logistic support, and the growth of MSMEs, along with Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. He also praised Amravati district for being chosen as one of the seven Textile Parks in India. This Textile Park situate in Nandgaonpeth area of Amravati is expected to attract an investment of ₹10,000 crores and create 3,00,000 jobs. He also emphasized the necessity of schemes like CMEGP, PM Vishwakarma, and Ladki Bahin Yojana to support the industrial sectors.

Hon’ble Minister of Industries, Shri Uday Samant, inaugurated the event with opening remarks highlighting the growth of the Chh. Sambhajinagar region, focusing on infrastructure development, enhanced network connectivity, logistic support, and the growth of MSMEs, along with Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. He also appreciated that  AURIC is one of the first greenfield smart industrial city with plug and play facilities, where we have recently succeed to attract significant  investment of more than ₹52000 crores and will be creating more than 60000 employment. He also emphasized the necessity of schemes like CMEGP, PM Vishwakarma, and Ladki Bahin Yojana to support the industrial sectors.

During the session Hon Minister of housing and OBC welfare Shri Atul Save ,  Hon Shri Abdul Sattar Minster of  Minority Development and Aukaf Ministry Marketing Ministry and Guardian minister Chh.Sambhajinagar, Hon. Members of Parliament Shri Kalyan Kale and Dr Bhagwat Karad,  Shri P.D Malikner, MD, AITL  also expressed that we shall do our best to support the Industries in the region.

The MMR Thane Development Conference 2024 showcased the potential of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) and Thane. Hon. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde addressed the conference, envisioning the MMR as a $1.5 trillion economy and highlighting Thane’s pivotal role in this growth. He also emphasized recent infrastructure developments like the Atal Setu, coastal highway, and Eastern Freeway extension. The conference attracted senior government officials, businessmen, and World Bank representatives. It recognized the contributions of the Chairman, MD, and Vice Chairman of Raunak Group and concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Prashant Rode, the additional commissioner of Thane Municipal Corporation.

Honourable Prime Minister, Shri. Narendra Modi, laid the foundation stone for a PM Mega Integrated Textile Regions and Apparel (PM MITRA) Park in Amravati, Maharashtra. The 1000-acre park, being developed by the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC), is a significant step towards India’s vision of becoming a global textile manufacturing and export hub. The government’s approval for seven PM MITRA Parks underscores this commitment. Maharashtra, with its strong textile sector and the Vidarbha region’s reputation for quality cotton production, is well-positioned for industrial growth. Hon. Prime Minister emphasized the need to create a complete supply chain, from farm to fibre to fashion, to boost exports and increase income. Maharashtra is actively working on modern infrastructure and connectivity to support this industrial progress.

The Department for Promotion of Investment and Internal Trade (DPIIT) successfully hosted ‘Udyog Samagam’. This landmark conference brought together Industry and Commerce Ministers, senior officials from all States and Union Territories, and distinguished guests to deliberate on advancing industrial growth, enhancing the Ease of Doing Business, and fostering a business-friendly environment across the nation.

A key moment of the event was the release of the Regulatory Compliance Burden (RCB) Booklet by Shri Piyush Goyal. The booklet showcases the Government’s ongoing efforts to simplify, digitalize, and eliminate outdated regulations that hinder business operations. Over 42,000 compliances related to businesses and citizens have been reduced, including the decriminalization of more than 3,800 provisions and the removal of redundant laws. The RCB Booklet is a testament to the Government’s commitment to improving the Ease of Doing Business and fostering a business-friendly environment.

Industries and Commerce Ministers from 16 states and senior officials from other states attended the day-long conference.
